Our Relationship

FireSeed first started as a solo project, emerging out of Daley’s continual call to centre feelings and flourishing in the realm of social justice and liberation-oriented community organizing. And for many years, Daley did this sometimes lonely work of supporting individuals and organizations to align with the transformational futures they desired.

And then Daley met Ingrid.

Our relationship started as one of coach (Daley) and coachee (Ingrid) but quickly shifted as we realized that our deeply shared commitments and values had great potential beyond our one-on-one relationship.

A forest path with 5 year old Daley and Ingrid. Fireseed’s logo floats. “We value silliness, whimsy, and general merriment because lightness and joy are as much a part of who we are as coaches as curiosity, compassion, and accountability.”

What we share

  • We value silliness, whimsy, and general merriment because lightness and joy are as much a part of who we are as coaches as curiosity, compassion, and accountability.

  • We enjoy hanging out with each other in the Deep Thoughts Lounge in beautiful downtown Zoom.

  • We believe in the healing properties of the ancient practice of Snackundnapz.

  • In case you're wondering, our answer is "Star Trek" because it's a big YES to your question, "Permission to speak freely?"

Banner text: Not your typical pumpkins. FireSeed helps pumpkins turn self determination, feelings, and values into flourishing futures as jack-o'-lanterns, pies, and decorative fall tablescapes. www.fireseedfacilitation.org

Speech bubbles coming from 3 orange pumpkins: "Pumpkin Spice is just not what I want to be." "My boss says living with pepitas makes me such an inspiration." "I feel like a giant fraud when they call me the Great Pumpkin."

The basics of how we work together

Individual coaching: We work independently and Daley, as the more experienced coach, informally oversees Ingrid's practice. We meet on a weekly basis to discuss any questions, concerns and joys. We engage in conversations about what it means to practice ethically, and are committed to supporting each other to work in alignment with liberation and transformation.

Facilitation and group training: We are still developing our structure for working together on group trainings and facilitation.
